Community Guidelines
EventBosh chats exist so you can plan nights out, find your people, and actually go to more events. Keeping them good places to be is mostly on all of us.
The short version
Talk how you'd talk at the event. Swearing with your mates is fine. Targeting people is not.
Not allowed
- Hate and slurs — Racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ableist or religiously hateful language aimed at anyone. Severe slurs are blocked before they send.
- Harassment and bullying — Pile-ons, repeated unwanted contact, intimidation — with or without swear words.
- Threats — Any threat of violence or harm, including "jokes" that read as threats.
- Sexual harassment — Unwanted sexual messages or pressure. Explicit content in public chats gets masked or removed.
- Doxxing — Sharing anyone's personal details, photos, or location without consent.
- Predatory behaviour toward minors — Instant ban, and a report to authorities where appropriate.
- Spam and scams — Ticket scams, fake links, flooding chats with promo.
- Impersonation — Pretending to be EventBosh staff, venues, artists, or other users.
Your tools
- Report — Use the menu on any message to report it. Reports are confidential and a human reviews every one within 24 hours.
- Block — Removes their messages from your view and keeps you out of each other's groups.
- Mute — Silences a chat's notifications without leaving it.
If we get it wrong
Filters aren't perfect. If something was blocked or masked that shouldn't have been — or we missed something that should — contact support from the Help & Support screen and a human will look at it.
